1. General Registration Policy

PIRAVI '26 is a premier collegiate technical symposium with limited seating capacities in workshops, hackathons, and laboratory arenas. Registration slots are reserved instantaneously upon submission.

Due to pre-allocated computational infrastructure, consumables, dining provisioning, and judge reservations, individual event registration fees are generally non-refundable once successfully cleared, except under the explicit eligible conditions stated below.

2. Eligible Conditions for Refund

Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that a specific competition, hackathon, or workshop is cancelled by the organizing committee of ASET Palakkad and cannot be rescheduled, registered participants will receive a 100% full refund of the fee paid for that event.

Technical / Duplicate Transaction Failures: If an excess amount is debited from your bank account or payment card due to a gateway timeout, dual-click, or network disconnection during checkout, the duplicate debit will be verified and refunded in full.

Major Rescheduling Conflict: If an event date or time is altered substantially by the organizers and the participant is unable to attend the rescheduled slot, a refund request submitted within 48 hours of the announcement will be honored.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Delegate No-Shows: Failure to physically report at Ahalia Knowledge Village on November 14–16, 2026 due to personal reasons, academic exams, or travel delays does not qualify for a refund.

Disqualification for Misconduct: Any participant disqualified by the disciplinary committee for violating campus anti-ragging codes, code plagiarism, or hardware tampering is ineligible for a refund.

Voluntary Withdrawal: Voluntary cancellation requested after registrations have closed is strictly non-refundable.

4. Refund Processing Timeline & Mode

Statutory Processing Turnaround: Once an eligible refund request is validated by the finance secretariat, the refund will be initiated within 5 to 7 business days.

Original Payment Source: The refunded amount will be credited directly back to the original mode of payment used during registration (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI account).

Depending on the participant's issuing bank or card network, the credit reflection in the account statement typically takes 3 to 5 additional working days.

5. Delegate Squad Substitution Policy

To accommodate genuine student emergencies, team squad member transfers and delegate name substitutions are permitted at zero administrative fee up to 48 hours prior to Day 01 (November 12, 2026).

Team leads can submit a substitution request by emailing piravi@ahalia.ac.in with the registered Participant ID and replacement delegate's credentials.
